Alligations and Denials
Ava Kris Tyson, a 28-year-old YouTuber with over 22,000 subscribers on her personal channel, faced serious allegations of sending inappropriate messages to a minor when she was 20 years old and the minor was reportedly 13. These allegations, which surfaced through videos shared by other YouTubers, have caused a significant stir in the online community.

Taking to social media platform X, Ava vehemently denied the claims, stating, “I never groomed anyone.” Despite her denial, she issued an apology for her “past behaviour,” acknowledging that her previous conduct online was inappropriate.
The Decision to Step Down
In a statement, Ava explained that she and MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, mutually agreed that it was best for her to permanently step away from the MrBeast channel and social media to focus on her family and mental health. This decision comes after careful consideration of the impact of the allegations on both her personal life and the MrBeast brand.
Ava rose to fame as a co-host on MrBeast’s wildly popular YouTube channel, which boasts over 300 million subscribers. MrBeast, known for his extravagant stunts and philanthropic endeavors, became the most subscribed YouTuber in 2022. Ava’s appearances on the channel helped solidify her as a recognizable figure in the YouTube community.
Last year, Ava publicly revealed that she is a transgender woman and began undergoing gender-affirming therapy, changing her pronouns to she/her. This personal journey garnered both support and scrutiny from the public.

Ava responded to these allegations by stating, “To create a narrative that my behaviour extended beyond bad edgy jokes is disgusting and did not happen.” She emphasized that her old humour was unacceptable, but that she is committed to personal growth and improvement.
Interestingly, the alleged victim has come forward in defense of Ava. In a statement, the individual asserted, “These videos are massive lies and twisting the truth. Ava never did anything wrong and just made a few edgy jokes.
